The next day I couldn't resist a little strategic posing as Mike and I had a little scavenger hunt to see how many different places we could find our books shelved in the story. It was fun and made us feel just a little more that we had arrived as both editors and authors. |

Brian and I had a blast at the Watch the Skies - Bad-Ass Faereies Unleashed event. We spent a little time at the front of the store signing for the masses, then we went in the back for a Q&A session where we both fielded questions as both editors and contributors, Brian being one half of the Fortress Publishing Inc machine. After the Q&A I read his story The Ballad of the Seven-Up Sprite, and then an excerpt of my own story from Breach the Hull, as a preview.
